Serifo works in the Agricultural, Agri-food and Rural sectors and its activities move along four guiding lines: Real Services, Research of Soft loans/Financing, Research and Training. The company is characterised by an high level of dinamism and innovation related to both the process and the product.  In particular, its activity within the rural sector is to be meant as offer of:
  • service of accompaniment/orientation/training;
  • technical assistance to business operators in the rural areas;
  • promotion of the rural economic realities of the Campania region in Italy and abroad.

The innovation of its core services has led Serifo to start its activities with pilot actions on the territory through a direct contact with sectoral operators in order to identify the weak points and the strong points of the agricultural sector in order to better formalise the services to provided. The Research of Funding or Soft Loans  has represented an useful tool aimed to:                  

  • collect information on the state of the art of the EU Agriculture (also further to the enlargement to new member Countries);
  • compare the situation in EU with the Campania and Italian reality;
  • identify and anticipate the needs of technical assistance / training / advising of the agricultural and agri-food operators (including the little sized entrepreneurs and agri-tourism operators) and of people living in rural areas.
  • it plans long-range innovative interventions;
  • it experiments new models of training as well as new advising interventions;
  • it sets up Partnerships to start long term co-operations on future actions within the sectors of interest.
As regards as the training sector, Serifo is implementing from many years , as Promoter / Coordinator and Partner, many EC projects (LdV, Grundtvig, LLP, and so on...); some of them are aimed to formalise new vocational training methodologies to encourage difficult targets (as over 50 y.o. And low educated farmers) to re-engage them into training activities; other projects, instead, are aimed to create innovative training curriculum for new professional profiles in the agricultural sector.
